Emma is the Founder, Operations Manager and Lead Outdoor Practitioner of Rooted in Nature.
She has always had a passion for the great outdoors which has formed the basis of her mission to help people of all ages to re-connect with nature. The more hi-tech our lives become, the more nature we need to achieve natural balance.
With a background and degree in Primary Education, Emma has spent time in the classroom as a teaching assistant and classroom teacher. She has worked with a range of young people with special education needs as well as working with vulnerable young people with challenging behaviour.
What has been your best moment when you connected with nature?
One morning, a friend and I woke early to get out in a canoe. We launched at South Walsham inner broad and in the dark mist of dawn, we silently paddled across the stillness, mirror-like water. We sat on the outer broad and watched the sun rise on the horizon. From a small dot through the cloud, it shone brighter and brighter. To sit and listen to nature, breathing in this amazing site. There are no words that truly describe this experience, this connection.
With Rooted in Nature, let us help you discover and explore your roots with nature.
