We are excited to launch our new project Wood Sisters! The more hi-tech our lives become, the more we need time to reconnect in nature. An opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and time to relax.
Our staff team have a passion to improve mental health and well-being alongside teaching what nature has to bring to our everyday lives.
For anyone who knows about Forest School- it’s an adult version open to anyone over the age of 18. (Don’t worry- a family and a young people version coming soon!)
The session will start at 10am and advise you arrive at 9.45am to give yourself to wander gently into the woods. We aim to finish at 1.30pm.
We shall prepare and cook a communal lunch together. We ask if you can to bring a chopped vegetable to add the pot! Or some bread or cake to contribute to the table as eating is an important time to come together. We shall provide brews, snacks and lunch (dietary requirements will be catered for where practically possible).
We are super excited to share that this project is being supported by Awards4All Funding from the Big Lottery. This allows us to offer your ticket to be purchased at a sliding scale to these sessions are open and available to all. This will be from £15 to £40 for the session, however if cost is a barrier please do get in touch. Please know that we come from a place of no judgement and completely understand the currently challenges of the cost of living crisis. Hence this group is needed more than ever!
As our new website is being built to be able to facilitate choosing the price you can pay. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a book form, further information and terms and conditions.
Tickets are based between a £25 and £35 donation. At the moment, our website can only collect one price (but hopefully our new one will be more clever to have a selection of prices). Please do not let cost be a barrier and get in touch with us if you need support. But if you can, ‘pay it forward’ and help support the cost of someone else being able to attend.
